Colatan GT5……………...….…..………..…..Reduction of formaldehyde emission
    GT5 is a natural polyphenol, extracted from the Quebracho wood, and its curing demands less formaldehyde than the synthetic resins usually do. Press times are similar to those obtained with UF resins. one of GT5 main charac-teristics is, that it behaves like formaldehyde scavenger, hence reducing formol emissions to levels under E1.
Colatan GT100…………………....…………..Improvement of moisture resistance
    GT100 is a natural polyphenol, extracted from the Quebracho wood, and its curing demands less formaldehyde than the synthetic resins usually do. Press times are are lower to those formaldehyde resins that replaces. Cure times of GT100 are compared to cure times of UF resins with about 35% less than using phenolic resins. The advantage is a worthy increase of the production. GT100 behaves like formaldehyde scavenger, hence reducing formol emissions to levels under E1.
Colatan GTH…………………………..Reduction of curetime and improvement of
moisture resistance and tensile strength
    GTH is a natural polyphenolic product which has high performance as a curing accelerator combined to phenols and formaldehyde of the synthetic resins. It is not necessary the use of caustic soda or any other modifier based on para-formaldehyde. The main advantage is to get a cure with no volatile organic compound emissions. GTH behaves as formaldehyde scavenger, and the emission levels of formaldehyde are reduced to nearly zero.
MDF Woodboard
PHENOTAN………………….....................……………based on vegetable Mimosa Extract
PHENOTAN is a vegetable origin adhesive, developed for particleboard and MDF panels. PHENOTAN consist of a chemical modification on the Mimosa/Wattle bark extract, which improves reactivity and performing in terms of viscosity, strength and water resistance. Generally, Mimosa extracts are composed of flavonoid units, which present various degrees of condensation. As the structures are similar to phenolic compounds, and react as phenolic resins, it is possible to produce polimerization using Mimosa Extracts/PHENOTAN at the same well-known formaldehyde cross linking reaction. At the same way, the panels obtained by use of PHENOTAN a much lower formaldehyde free content, comparing the traditional synthetic adhesives.
